Build Evolution
As I grow as a driver, establish new partnerships and learn what the car needs to improve on, I’ve continued to evolve the car.
It’s my intention to continue to keep this page up to date. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to view parts from previous versions of the car. Currently installed parts are listed in the appropriate category.
If you have any questions about setup or the choices I’ve made, please reach out.
Engine/Drivetrain
When people ask what's been done to the car, power is typically what they're asking about. 2020 started by blowing an engine. By September I completed my first engine build with strong components that should support much more than the 567 wheel torque it’s now making. Below are some of the parts holding it all together.
Safety
Safety is the part of the build where I've invested the most. It all starts with a solid roll cage and builds from there.
Brakes
The big brake kit is probably overkill, but can you really ever stop too fast?
Cooling
I have a feeling this won’t be the last cooling setup. Keeping the turbo setup cool continues to be a challenge. Hopefully this setup will be substantially better than the last.
Wheel Fitment
In addition to the parts listed below, I also still run the OEM 17" wheels as drift spares after I run through the tires on my nice wheels.
Suspension
The combination of parts listed below gives me almost everything I could want adjustability wise. The coilovers ride a bit stiff on the street but work very well on the track. I'm able to get more angle than is usable at my current power level with just the lower angle kit parts from Parts Shop Max.
In the future I may consider softer springs, adding a sway bar to the front and getting traction arms for the rear to allow me to dial in toe through the suspension travel arc.

Exhaust
It turns out that turbos are the best way to improve the sound of your exhaust. :)

These are parts that have previously been a part of the build but are no longer on the car.
