What a rough day
The goal was to head down to Kil-Kare to get some experience at the track (I had never been there before) before the upcoming Midwest Drift Union Formula Drift Shootout. I wanted to get an idea for what the layout could be, feel the surface and have some time to mentally prepare for the challenge ahead of me.
I was also hoping to get my eyes on some of the competition from the midwest, as I expected to see some competitors who had the same thing in mind.
I was able to get quite a bit of seat time. I was only able to get eyes on two other competitors and then I crashed my car into the wall, which created a solid two weeks worth of work for me prior to my first pro-am competition. It was a drag, but part of the overall experience. Oh well. Enjoy the photos below.
