Season opener with Mid Michigan drifting club @ corrigan oil speedway, April 22nd

2023 has the potential to be one of the best years for Michigan drifting yet. I’m personally super excited for the season. With three different organizations putting events on in Michigan this year, it should be a good one.

This was my first event of the year and my first time driving Corrigan. For me, a lot has changed with the car over the winter so this was more of a shakedown than a typical all-out drift day. Over the winter, I rebuilt my VQ after having a rough 2022 and engine components being on backorder all year. Fortunately, things went really well on this day.

I didn’t get a lot of media this day as I took it slow and spent plenty of time reviewing logs, checking the engine over, etc.
